Pele was also known by people who were not football fans

Brazil is bidding farewell to the legendary footballer Pele today with thousands of fans filling past his coffin, at the Santos stadium, where he played for many years. The stadium tribute will last 24 hours, then the coffin will be carried through the streets of Santos, before a private funeral later this week.
